EnerCast
ML Framework for Energy Engineering.
The framework handles
Data Connectors — SCADA, ENTSO-E, Open-Meteo, PVDAQ.
Quality Control — Outliers, gaps, frozen sensors, holidays.
Baseline Models — XGBoost, LightGBM, persistence benchmark.
Experiment Tracking — MLflow: features, params, metrics, artifacts.
The expert drives
Feature Engineering — Adapted to your business, your data, your constraints.
Algorithm Selection — Choose and configure the right model.
Business KPIs — E.g. accuracy when spot price > €100/MWh.
Drift Diagnosis — When a geopolitical shock pushes MAE from €12 to €23, only the expert knows why.
See it running: WattCast — probabilistic EPEX spot price forecasting (D+1 to D+7), 100% open data. D+1 MAE 12.4 €/MWh, 80% coverage validated.
Edifice
From the field to the report, without the drafting grind.
The problem
After every site inspection, an engineering firm spends 2 to 4 hours writing the report: field notes, sorting photos, drafting in Word, formatting. Entirely manual, every single time.
The solution
Edifice covers the whole chain. In the field, the BETClaw mobile app guides the inspector through an AI-driven chat — even offline. At the desk, the expert annotates photos, characterizes defects, and generates a DOCX report. The AI drafts; the expert validates.
Drafting time: 2–4 hours → 30–45 minutes · In production at IC Ingénieurs (structural engineering, founded 2003) · ML-ready annotations (YOLO) for future automatic defect detection.
